Stretch pantyhose through an embroidery hoop. The size of the hoop will depend on the size of the design.

Draw or print the image you want to project on a sheet of paper. Trace the image onto the stretched pantyhose.

Apply decoupage medium to the stockings, covering everything except the image. Everything without the decoupage medium will leak (covered in paint). Let the decoupage medium dry completely, then repeat with a second coat.

Place the embroidery hoop over the shirt so that the pantyhose side touches the shirt. Apply fabric paint over the design.

Use a piece of stiff paper or plastic card to gently scrape the paint downward across the design (like a squeegee).

Gently lift up the screen and let the shirt dry. If it does get painted, you can touch up with fabric paint or apply more decoupage medium before the next screen.

Wash the paint off the screen and repeat over and over again.
