Start winding the cotton clothes line on your car and hot glue as you go. Continue until you have coaster sized coils. Trim the line and glue the end down.

To create the citrus slice template, trace a circle slightly smaller than the coaster you're rolling onto a piece of craft foam. Draw another slightly smaller circle inside the first circle. Make a cake shape and cut out the triangles, leaving a little space between each one. The remaining parts of the label will act as the pith in the template.

Remove the template backing and center it on the roller coaster.

Lightly apply the craft paint to the entire coaster.

Try using green for limes, yellow for lemons, and pink for grapefruits. Let the coasters dry completely before removing the stencil.
