I also love to light a candle in the evening to perfume the house.
But don't bother spending a fortune to buy one!
You can create your own homemade candle easily in 1 minute .
All you need to make a scented candle is an orange, olive oil and a knife. Watch:
- 1 orange
- 1 sharp knife
- olive oil
- 1 lighter
1. Cut the peel of the orange in half using the knife.
2. Run your finger under the peel of the orange to loosen it.
3. Gently twist the orange to remove all the skin.
4. Now pull the peel gently so that the "stem" inside the orange stays attached to the peel.
5. Fill the orange peel halfway with olive oil, pouring it over the stem.
6. Use the same technique to remove the skin on the other half of the orange.
7. Cut a small circle in the skin to make the hat.
8. Light the candle using a lighter. It may take 30 seconds for the flame to ignite.
9. Gently place the orange cap on the candle.
10. Decorate your candle as you wish. For example, you can decorate it for Halloween.
There you go, you made a scented candle with an orange in 1 minute :-)
