This is a great rainy day or any day project for kids. Create a paper doll kit:Store the materials in a box or basket so they're ready when the kids want to play. To create the kit, print out a bunch of doll templates, cut out fabric clothes, and gather buttons, ribbons, and glue sticks.

Print the paper doll templates (click here to download the girl) and (click here to download the boy), and the clothing templates (click here to download shirts, pants, etc.).
Using the supplied printable files and white card stock, print as many paper doll images as you like. Additionally, you will want to print one sheet of the printable pattern page. These patterns can be cut out and used over and over again. First, choose paper or fabric that you would like to use for the doll's outfit. Then trace the pattern pieces onto the fabric or paper of your choice. You can also create your own pattern and do something even more creative. Once the patterns have been traced, carefully cut out each part of the doll's outfit.

Once the clothing pieces are cut out, use a glue stick to secure the clothing in place. Now it's the really fun part:color your doll and add ribbons, buttons, sequins, or anything else you'd like. Everything can be secured with a glue stick.
