Using disposable cups, mix the plaster according to the manufacturer's instructions. Usually, it's two parts plaster to one part water mixture.

Stir the plaster, mix well, then add paint. If you want your chalk to be really vibrant, add a little less water.

The chalk pops will need a release agent in the mold so you can easily remove them. Spray the mold with cooking spray.

One color at a time, mix the plaster and pour it into the mold. You may need to clean the inside of the pans after each color if a little spills over the sides. This way you will get clean lines.

Keep adding colors until you reach the top and then insert the popsicle sticks. Make sure you do the color coats all at once or the poultice will harden and you won't be able to insert the sticks.

Let the chalk dry for at least 24 hours. Remove the chalk molds from the molds and let them air dry another day to fully harden.
