Felt is adhered to the wool to facilitate the decoration of the haunted house. Hang this fun piece of art low where kids can reach it and leave it all month for a different Halloween activity every time they play.
Use a large piece of yarn as the back panel. Choose a contrasting color for your haunted house.

The panel will be kept straight by adding a wooden dowel at the top and bottom. Measure and cut the dowels to the width of the wool panel. Fold the yarn over the peg and pin.

Sew the channel so that the pins close at the top and bottom of the fleece panel. You can use a sewing machine, hand sew, or even fabric glue.

Draw a pattern of a haunted house on a piece of paper. Think about things like doors that open, porches to decorate, and windows when creating your design.

Glue the haunted house to the fleece panel using fabric glue. Make sure you don't glue interactive doors or windows. Opening and closing is half the fun!
You can cut your own shapes out of small felt to decorate or buy the pre-made versions at the craft store. Die-cut felt shapes are easy to find, and you can complement them with things like moons and teal pumpkins that you can make yourself.
