Cut cloth

To make the fabric resemble the sports-related pom-pom look, cut the yard into 3/8-inch strips using fabric scissors along the cutting mat.

Wrapping fabric

Once the fabric is cut, wrap it around the tassel tool until the entire strip is gone.

Place multiple strips on top of each other.

Lay the runner on a flat, level surface. Thread the needle and thread through the base of the pom-pom, then up each of the four ends of the table runner.

Secure in place

Once connected, spread all the pom poms apart along the sides, keeping the same distance between them, then secure in place with a needle and thread.
