Vintage School Pennant Garland Step 1, measure the width of the wall
To find out exactly how many banners you'll need to cover the space for your banner, measure your wall or area. Each 10' section of the space will require 12 to 15 pennants.

Vintage School Pennant Garland Step2, pendant placement design.
Random placement is key to creating the vintage look. Place all banners on a flat, level surface, and place bunting with a color variation from dark to light and a size change from large to small.

Vintage School Pennant Garland Step 4, measure and cut the ribbon
Unfold the spool of tape or twill tape on top of all the design pennants. Then use scissors to cut, allowing 8" excess on each end. This will be used to tie the banner to the nails hanging from the image.
