How to Paint a Rainbow Table Runner for St. Patrick's Day

This project requires just a few materials, including a roll of craft paper, paints, a 1" paintbrush, and a paint tray.

Step 1

Measure and mix

Measure a length of paper to fit the table. Instead of buying every color of paint, mix primary colors to make each color.

Step 2

Paint strips

Apply each color of paint in a long horizontal stripe.

Step 3

Paint, paint and paint

Repeat each color until the entire paper runner is filled with color.

Stage 4

Set the table

Place the runner on the table, followed by placemats and position adjustments.
