The best part about this popcorn ball folks is how easy it is to make. Start with ready-made popcorn balls from the store and all that's left to do is dress them up. Speaking of decorating, this is a great project for kids to help out with.
Remove the popcorn balls from their original packaging and wrap them in clear cling film. Make sure to seal well so the popcorn stays fresh.
Insert sticks into the bottom of the popcorn balls through the cling wrap.
Roll of black paper in the shape of a cone to make little party hats for the popcorn balls. Tape in shape. Then add pom poms, washi tape, or stickers to decorate.
Collect accessories to decorate popcorn people. The faux mustaches, glasses, and googley eyes are perfect. Many of these already have adhesive backing. However, if they don't, use craft glue or double-sided tape to adhere the rest.
(Don't use hot glue, it will melt the adhesive wrap.)
Decorate the popcorn balls to be as intricate as you like. They're also great for other types of parties, not just Halloween. Elf hats maybe?
Place popcorn in a festive cup or bowl to keep it upright. In most stores, there are also displays ready for party food on sticks. Never serve popcorn at your party again.
