This halloween dress as a spicy burrito. A white woolen blanket serves as an omelet. String, crepe paper, felt, and streamers are used to make the rice, cheese, and vegetables.
Cut the card stock into three 4" to 5" strips.
Insert the cardstock strips into the blanket fold and secure with a stapler. This will help the top of the tortilla rise.
Wrap the blanket around the shoulder and make a mark where to cut the armholes. Use a circle template to cut out the armholes so the blanket becomes a cape.
Put on your cape and tie a belt around your waist. Bring the ends of the necklace together and secure with the safety pin. Not only will this give you an idea of how to wear the costume, but it will also familiarize you with how to place the padding around the neck.
Cut the remaining card stock into long 4" wide strips. You will need about six. These will be used for the burrito fillings.
Use a 4" circle template to cut the felt fabric into 20 to 25 circles.
Fold each circle in half and then a quarter.
Staple the folded felt to one of the cardstock strips.
Make as many strips as you like.
Fold the green tissue paper lengthwise in half, then quarters, then eighths again, until the paper is about 4 inches wide. Cut along the length to separate the tissue paper strips.
Fold two strips of cardstock in half and place strips of tissue paper between them. Staple the card stock along the middle to sandwich the fabric between the two poster strips.
Use scissors to cut a 1/2" strip in the tissue paper lettuce.
Cut the orange tablecloth into 2" strips. Staple the red cupcake liners to the strips.
For the rice, make white yarn pom poms..
Bundle the pom poms with pipe cleaners to make them look like a floral bouquet.

Staple the strip of salsa and hot sauce to the tortilla blanket. Place the rice and cheese bouquets on the tortilla using the safety pin. Tuck in and wrap spinach leaves and lettuce strips all over. Tie the belt around your waist and cover it from the waist down with aluminum foil.
