This project took little time and money to create. Reclaimed electrical wires and cables can be used for many handmade projects; They are available in bright colors and are weather resistant.
wire cutters
heavy duty stapler
glue gun
hammer
reclaimed electrical cable
Flat Wood Wreath Shape (12 or 6 inches)
pineapples (small to medium)
red fruit twigs
white spray paint
Find old wires or cables; Make sure they are easily flexible and not too flexible. Use wire cutters to cut them to random but similar sizes.
Cover the wooden wreath shape with white spray paint. Let dry.
Fold the wire into loops and staple them to the wooden ring. Put the longer pieces in the back and shorter pieces in the front. Fill and place around the ring.
If necessary, use a hammer to tap the staples all the way into the wood ring. If a piece of wire slips out of the staple, simply push it back in and hammer down.
Cut (if necessary) pieces of red berry sprigs to fit around the crown. Use hot glue to hold them in place.
Adhere the pinecones to fit the stapled section of the wreath to cover the ends.
