Flies invaded your house again?
With the good weather and the heat, every year it's the same...
We don't know how to get rid of it anymore.
But don't bother buying fly tape!
Not only is it not cheap, but it's also toxic...
Luckily, you can easily make your own sticky fly tape. It's easy and 100% natural!
The trick is to dip strips of paper in a mixture of sugar, honey and water . Watch:
- 50 ml liquid honey
- 50 ml caster sugar
- 50ml of water
- 1 pan
- card stock
- string
- pair of scissors
- newsprint
1. Pour the liquid honey, sugar and water into the pan.
2. Heat over low heat.
3. Mix well to obtain a creamy texture, but not too liquid.
4. Let the mixture cool a little.
5. Cut strips of paper 5cm wide and at least 30cm long.
6. Punch a hole at the end of each strip and pass the string through.
7. Dip each strip of paper into the mixture so that it is well coated on each side.
8. Hang your strips above a newspaper for 30 min.
9. Once dry, hang the strips where the flies pass through the house.
And There you go ! Your ultra sticky fly tapes are already ready :-)
