Looking for a new twist on the typical little fairy costume? Make this pretty fall-inspired skirt and pair it with a set of wings, a crown, and a magic wand.
Create a square with the piece of felt by folding it in half lengthwise and widthwise. Use a tape measure to determine your waist measurement and divide that number by pi (3.14). This will be the radius to cut your top circle out of the felt square.
Place the top of your tape measure in the top left corner of your folded felt square. Draw a line for the measurement you got earlier. Continue measuring in a circle and tracing the radius measurement until you reach the other crease. This will form your waist circle.
Estimate how long you want the skirt to be by measuring from the waist to the knee. Transfer that measurement to the felt by measuring from the waist circle.
Cut along these marks.
Open your circle skirt up and open one side to become a wrap skirt.
Use a glue gun to attach all the leaves to the circular skirt of the circle.
Lay out the skirt and fasten it with a brooch or large safety pin under the leaves. Grab your favorite woodland fairy accessories (wings and a crown) and you'll be ready to trick-or-treat.
