Scrape off any high spots on the wall (Image 1). Use a cloth to clean up any debris.
Submerge the paper in the tray of water.
Hang the paper in place (Image 2), using a plumb line to make sure it is straight.

Use a soft brush to remove any air bubbles under the paper and to make sure the paper is tight at the corners.
Use a small seam roller to press the seams between wallpaper sheets.

Cut off any excess wallpaper with a razor blade, using the paint scraper as a guide to guide the cut.
