Before you start installing your wallpaper, you will need to be patient. The product will only adhere if your wall is perfectly clean. The first step is to clean it completely. If you want to put it on an already wallpapered wall, peel off the wallpaper over the entire surface. There are products that will help you in this process. Once you are done, check that the wall is smooth. If this is not the case, the area will have to be leveled using a smoothing filler.
To wallpaper your room, you will need:a tape measure, a pencil, a cutter, a ruler, a pasting brush, glue, an upholsterer's brush, a joint roller, a spatula and a sponge. So many elements are essential for the decoration of your wall.
Once you have gathered all these little people, you can start preparing your strips. First, measure the wall of your living room, bedroom, or any room you want to wallpaper, using a tape measure. Then prepare the glue, following the instructions. Measure the width of the wallpaper, and transfer it to the wall, drawing a vertical line with your pencil. Using the cutter, cut several strips, adding 6 centimeters to the height of the wall. With the pasting brush, add glue to half the length of the first strip. Fold the glued part back on itself, and do the same on the other half. Unfold the part at the top of your wall, place it flush with your ceiling if it is straight, otherwise leave a small margin. You can now release the second part and lean the length against the wall. With the upholstery brush, smooth the strip starting at the top, going from the center to the edges, and making sure to evacuate the air bubbles. Repeat the operation. Once all the strips have been laid, run a seam roller over the junctions and cut the excess flush with your complaints. Wallpapering is very simple, and the decorative effect is guaranteed!
