And There you go ! Your insect trap to protect your fruit trees is already ready :-)

Easy, fast and efficient, right?

Goodbye butterflies, flies, worms and caterpillars that ravage your fruit trees!

The sugar and banana mixture will attract insects and trap them in the bottle.

You don't even need to buy commercial chemical insecticides or pheromone traps.

Additional advice

Once the trap is stale, replace it, approximately every 10 days.

You can also put one at the base of your trees to catch insects that do not fly, such as ants, for example.

If you have a small fruit tree, or one with fragile branches, take a small 1/2 liter bottle.

It will be less heavy on the branches, so just adjust the quantities.

Why does it work?

The banana has a very strong odor that attracts insects. By breaking down in the vinegary and sweet liquid, it will be even more exacerbated.

Sugar also acts as bait, especially for fruit flies, which are fond of it.

The vinegar reinforces the decomposition of the banana which will release its smell more quickly. It also attracts some gnats.
