Choosing the right trophy

For a trophy to work well as a wine bottle decoration, it must be light, tall and thin. Stick with toppers approximately 2 inches to 6 inches tall with a maximum width of 3 inches.

Decommissioning Trophy

Most early trophies are simply screwed onto their bases. Turn the cover counterclockwise to loosen it from the base.

Loosen With Screwdriver

If the cover does not come loose, look for a screw, then loosen it with a screwdriver.

Stage 4

Twist the cork on the integrated screw

Thread a cork into the trophy's built-in screw until snug. Keep the wine bottle sealed by capping the top with the top of the trophy bottle.
