Pralinage is the action of coating the roots plants, trees and shrubs offered with bare roots – understand that there is no clod – with a kind of paste called praline. In the past, praline was a mixture of earth and cow dung. More practical, the new look praline is available at points of sale in the form of a powder to be mixed in water to obtain the famous paste.
Coating the roots of plants with this mixture promotes the emission of new roots. It is not really mandatory but strongly recommended for an optimal recovery.
