- Put a pan of water on to heat so that it releases steam.
- Place the stained fabric over the steamer.
- Leave the steam to act for 2 or 3 minutes. The steam loosens the rust residue.
- Once it's done, rub the stain with Marseille soap (or black soap)
- Rinse with clean water and put in the washing machine as usual.
You thought white vinegar and baking soda couldn't remove rust stains?
False ! This mix is super effective and it's super simple.
- Generously sprinkle bicarabonte soda on the rust stain.
- Pour a little white vinegar on top.
- In contact with each other, these products will foam.
- Leave on for 10 min.
- Scrub with an old toothbrush.
- Rinse properly.
- Machine wash as usual.
If you've stained a colored cotton garment, rhubarb is a secret weapon.
Our grandmothers used this technique to remove rust stains.
- Mix the rhubarb leaves
- Spread this mixture on the area to be detached.
- Leave on overnight.
- Rinse and machine wash normally.
This product is commercially available in liquid or powder form.
