Do you have furniture marks on your carpet?
It happens very often when you move a chair, a table or a sofa at home.
As a result, we end up with ugly marks on the carpet.
Luckily, here's a trick to easily eliminate them if you have guests arriving this weekend.
The trick is to put an ice cube on the mark to make it disappear:
1. Place an ice cube where the mark is.
2. Let the ice cube melt and let the carpet sit overnight.
3. The next morning, lift the carpet fibers by gently rubbing the mark with a spoon.
There you go, the marks on your carpet disappeared easily :-)
The moisture from the ice cube will gradually be absorbed by the fibers of the carpet, causing them to swell and return to their original shape.
Obviously, this trick also works for a carpet. You can also use a wire brush instead of a spoon.
