To remove a makeup stain from a fabric, forget the miraculous, specific and overpriced products!
Just pull out some makeup remover from your bathroom cupboard and dab the stain with it. Be careful not to rub, otherwise, beware of bad surprises!
If it's on a tie, you can opt for a cloth soaked in 90° alcohol, or a little lemon if the fabric is synthetic.
Things get tough if you've stained a wool sweater. Only turpentine can save you. As with makeup remover, gently dab the stain until it disappears.
Finally, for a fragile fabric, there is one last very simple trick:put talcum powder on the fiber and cover with absorbent paper. By passing an iron over it, you will absorb the stain to neutralize it. It's super effective!
