If a bouquet of cut flowers lasts on average a week, there is a simple little trick to prolong their lifespan!
Before putting your flowers in a vase, take a knife without teeth and cut the stems at an angle of about 1 cm while running them under cool water.
Do not use scissors which will flatten the stems and prevent the water from circulating properly inside.
Then split the ends of the stems in half so that they absorb water better once your flowers are placed in the vase.
