Unroll the spool of sisal rope and wrap it evenly around the wreath shape. After two strings of rope are wrapped tightly around each other, secure the sisal rope to the wreath shape with hot glue. Repeat this process until the entire wreath shape is covered with sisal rope. Then cut to size with the utility knife.
Unfold the spool of white nylon rope. Create four accent bands, one in each quadrant, wrapping the string around the crown two strands at a time until a band 10 strands wide is created. Secure the nylon rope to the sisal rope with hot glue. When you have completed each band, cut the nylon rope with a utility knife.
Using a marker or pencil, draw a banner on a piece of 1/4" plywood.
Cut out the banner silhouette from the 1/4” plywood using a jigsaw or jigsaw. When you're done, make a second banner. Lay the first banner on another piece of plywood and trace the shape onto the surface. Then cut the second banner.
Cover the entire surface of the plywood with the background color using a mini roller. When two coats of the background color have dried completely, use a small brush to mark the bride and groom on each banner.
Use a drill and 1/2" bit to make two holes, spaced 2-1/2 inches apart, in each of the top two corners of each banner.
When the electrical tape is securely wrapped around the edge of the sisal rope, feed the rope through one of the two holes, around the back of the crown, then through the adjacent hole.
Tie knots in the front of each strand of rope, securing the plywood banner to the sisal rope covered wreath shape.
