Print the paper pattern and piece together with tape as instructed. Cut around black lines to cut dinosaur pattern. Cut out two dinosaurs from the fabric, each facing the opposite direction.
Use a needle and thread to sew the buttons where the eye placement mark is on the pattern. Sew a button to each side of the dinosaur's head.
Take the two pieces of felt and place one on top of the other. Cut triangle shapes along the top edge all the way down the strip, leaving the bottom 3/4" connected.
Pin the felt strips together and sew along the edges of the outer triangle to secure the pieces together.
Place the straight felt edge on the top curve of one of the dinosaur fabric pieces. Place it between the tip start and tip end marks on the pattern. Sew together using a 1/4" seam allowance.
Lay the two dinosaur fabric pieces to the right and pin them along all the outside edges, leaving the bottom of one foot open/no pins. Make sure the triangle felt tips are secured inside the fabric and do not protrude from the edge of the fabric; you may need to fold them inward. Sew around, leaving the foot of one foot open.
Pin the edges of the seam on all the curved areas.
Turn the dinosaur right side out through the foot. Use your finger or a dull object to push all the edges.
Add polyester stuffing to the open foot of the dino until the dino is completely filled. After stuffing, fold the raw edges of the dino foot over and roll it over.
Now you have an adorable dinosaur ornament, a perfect baby shower gift or birthday present for the child in your life.
