There should be some until frost, if the raspberries are remontant. That is to say, they go back to flower and therefore to fruit. The harvest is spread out from June to October – November, depending on the region.
The non-remontant ones “only” produce in June – July, but abundantly. And if the first hit of frost hits your home early, prefer non-remontant raspberries.
Summer pruning for non-remontant is very simple, all you have to do is cut the stems that have fructified . Either way, if you don't, they'll dry out and won't be of much use.
The pick-ups cut in two stages. At the end of August, cut off the branches that have fruited on side shoots of a stem from last year (these are the oldest). And thiswinter you will cut the young branches in half (the ones that remain in fact!). Lateral buds will give fruiting shoots.
For those who have not understood everything:in the spring your raspberry tree looks like a stem about 50cm high and with side buds. These buds will develop and give fruits in June July . During this spring, other shoots will come out of the ground and will give fruits in late summer and autumn . This is why it is important to differentiate between the two types of branches. With the raspberry in front of your eyes, it's very simple.
Anyway, if you don't cut the branches that have fruited, they dry out and clutter up the planting for nothing. A little cleaning every once in a while never hurts. And take the opportunity to cut stems that are too thin or misplaced.
Finally, note that the raspberry tree is very fond of organic matter (compost). Therefore, mulch the soil to keep cool near its creeping roots. And it is said here and there that the forget-me-not keeps the fly away from the raspberry. Better a little blue flower than one too many worms...
