No question here of cuttings in winter to multiply it, one is enough!
Winter cuttings are those that are made in winter (Precision for those whose flu has seized the neurons). They are also called dry wood cuttings.
Virtually all deciduous shrubs can be propagated like this. 20 cm branches, the base of which is bevelled, are bundled and 3/4 buried. With a label, it's better.
Let time act, rooting takes a long time, but a gardener is in no hurry.
Precaution for shrubs with hollow wood (Forsythia, Seringa, etc.) , the cut is made on a knot , (where an eye is) this is the part of the branch that contains pith and therefore not hollow.
Try it out, you will see that nature is wonderful.
