Question from a blogger:What do I do with my wilted Amaryllis?
Like all bulbous potted plants, whose flower has finished its decorative function, all you have to do is cut the flower stem without cutting the leaves . As soon as the outside temperature allows it, plant the bulbs with their leaves, even ugly ones, in the ground and water with organic fertilizer when planting. Stop watering when all the leaves are dry. Leave in place the bulbs that can stay outside for flowering next year. Dig up the others (case of Amaryllis) and store them in a dry place for future repotting.
