How To Turn An IKEA Magazine Rack Into A Super Handy Organizer.

Nothing more practical than emptying your pockets as soon as you get home at home.

The problem is that we tend to empty them all over the house...

So much so that we find coins, keys and other stuff scattered all over the house.

The best is to have a special place to store all this and avoid the mess!

Well, this wooden magazine rack from IKEA is perfect as a trinket tray to put all that stuff in.

Just paint it and hang it on the side in a corner of the entrance . Look, it's quite simple:

What you need

- 1 wooden magazine rack

- painting

- wood varnish (optional)

- 2 screws and 2 washers

How to

1. Start by painting the magazine rack with the color you like.

2. Pre-drill two holes in the bottom of the magazine rack to put the screws.

3. Make two marks on your wall with a level to indicate where you will need to drill to hang the screws.

4. Hang the magazine rack on the wall, using the washers so the screw heads don't go too far into the wood.

5. If you have an outlet nearby, you can even charge your phone by passing the charger wire through the hole in the front of the magazine rack.

Result

And There you go ! You now have a super practical storage compartment to put all your stuff when you get home :-)

Easy, convenient and economical, right?

No more mess in the house and no more looking for your keys for 2 hours just before leaving!

Additional advice

I advise you to hang it in the entrance so that it is easy to access when you arrive and when you leave the house.

If you don't want to paint the magazine rack, no worries. You can simply varnish it to protect it.

This magazine rack can also be used as a bedside table in a bedroom.
