All you need to get rid of that food building up inside your microwave is a few slices of lemon, a little vinegar and some water.
I normally use white vinegar. But I didn't have any more. So I took white wine vinegar. And it works just as well :-)
1. Cut lemon slices.
2. Put them in a bowl filled with water. Check that the bowl is microwave safe.
3. Add some vinegar to the bowl.
4. Place the bowl in the microwave.
5. Heat it at high temperature for 5 min. The image below gives you a good idea of the condition of the microwave before cleaning!
6. After the five minutes are up, leave the bowl for a few more minutes.
7. Then carefully remove the bowl without burning yourself.
8. Using a damp cloth, wipe down the inside of the microwave. Food stuck to the oven walls will come off effortlessly.
There you go, your microwave oven is now all clean and smells like lemon :-)
All this, in less than 10 min, without effort or chemicals!
No more excuses for not having a nickel microwave.
