Do your bath towels smell bad? Do they have a stubborn musty smell?
This often happens if the wet towels are not taken out of the washing machine quickly enough.
As a result, the humidity turns into mold and your towels stink...
Fortunately, we will solve this problem together with white vinegar and baking soda:
1. Put your bath towels in the washing machine.
2. Choose the hottest washing temperature, 90°.
3. Pour 2 cups of white vinegar into the machine. Do not add detergent or fabric softener.
4. Once the cycle is complete, run a machine again at 90°, but this time with 1/2 cup of baking soda (and nothing else).
5. As soon as the cycle is finished, dry your towels in the dryer or spread out in the sun.
There you go, your towels smell clean again :-)
Before folding and storing, bath towels should be completely dry. Otherwise the musty smell may reappear.

Note that this trick also works for clothes, such as swimsuits that have not dried well after the pool.
But, in this case, do not wash at 90°, respect the temperature indicated on your labels.
