A mud stain on your light jeans?
No wonder, as soon as it rains... mud stains on clothes are inevitable.
Especially when you have kids or are gardening!
Fortunately, there is a radical trick to remove mud stains without scrubbing for 3 hours.
The trick is to use a sponge soaked in white vinegar . Watch:
1. Let the mud dry completely.
2. With a brush, scrub.
3. Fill a bowl ¾ full with cold water.
4. Add ¼ of white vinegar.
5. Soak a sponge in this mixture.
6. Rub the stain with the sponge.
7. Rinse.
Lo and behold, the mud stain is now completely gone :-)
The most important step is to let the mud marks dry out before doing anything.
This method for removing soil stains works very well for white or light-coloured clothes, but also for polyester clothes, such as football or rugby shirts.
Moms know what I'm talking about;-)
It is also effective in cleaning canvas shoes, such as white Converse... and even in removing mud stains from carpets!
If the stains won't come out, rub with pure vinegar or with a potato cut in half. Then rinse.
