Cut 20 sheets from the felted wool sheet. Use your sharpest scissors to freehand form the shape of each leaf. Mistletoe leaves are long and narrow, with a rounded end and a point at the other end.
Cut 10 pieces of florist wire approximately 6" long. The felt wool is thick, so it's easy to thread 2" to 3" of wire between the layers of wool, inside the sheet. Let 1 /4" of wire to slide across the surface. Bend the short piece of exposed wire to secure it in place.
Using the remaining 2" to 3" wire, attach a sheet to the other end. Each 6" piece of cable will have a blade attached to each end.
Cut two 12" pieces of wire. These will become the longest branches that the leaves can hang from. Piece by piece, attach the leaves to the longest piece of wire with floral tape to hold them together. Floral tape is a little sticky so it sticks to itself very well It has good coverage so wrap it around exposed wire to create the look of wooden branches.
When the branches begin to take shape, add white berries to finish off the decoration. Thread white pom poms, balls of yarn, or even cotton balls through a 3" wire, and then wrap it into position between the leaves. Use extra floral tape to secure them in place.
Attach the branches to the door frame with a dowel (if you push it into the top of the frame, you'll never see the hole). Adjust the branches by bending the wire and love your mistletoe decoration throughout the holiday season.
