Everyone wants a cozy living room, where you can relax and where there is enough space for every member of the family. You have quite a bit of electronics in the living room without noticing. As a result, you not only have a lot of cables to hide, but also a lot of devices in sight. Not everyone can enjoy these and so they have to be eliminated a bit. There are many ways to stylishly hide your electronics in the living room, so we're happy to give you a few options.
You can't get rid of some items completely. Think of a television, music boxes or some kitchen appliances. If you enjoy a full television experience and have purchased a surround system, you cannot place it in a cupboard. You have to be able to fully enjoy the sound. However, this doesn't mean you have to put them in full view. For example, you can place speakers in a bookcase next to the sofa or on your own speaker stand. This way it doesn't take up too much space and you can place them wherever you want.
If you have a partner or children who like to game, there will be a large game console by the television. Totally fine of course, but maybe you prefer to have as little electronics in sight as possible. Many game consoles can simply be placed in a drawer or behind the television, because they only have a small bar to make contact with the controller. Unfortunately, this works differently with transmitter boxes, because the remote control has to make contact. In that case, you can place the transmitter box behind a door in the TV cabinet. When you watch television and zap a lot, you open the door. If you're not using it, you can neatly hide it by closing the door.
If you have several remotes, they can sometimes be lying around the room. You probably have one for the television, maybe one for your stereo, one for your awning and so on. This can look very messy, so make sure you have a permanent place for the remote controls. This way they never roam the entire room or you don't have to fish them out between the sofa cushions. It's that easy!
