We recently got a new wood burning stove. Maybe you've already seen it on my Instagram account? A super cool copy, but more on that later. First I want to show you some cool ideas for storing your firewood indoors. Because of course it's nice if you have a whole storage area outside for your firewood, but you also want to have a stock of firewood inside, right?
At least, if you have a wood stove, that is of course a requirement 😉 . Anyway, for those who love lighting a nice fire inside… here are some cool ideas for storing the firewood inside.

I personally think that I will look for a nice leather car tire basket to store the firewood, although the search for cool solutions has also brought me to other ideas. So maybe I'll surprise you soon with another interior item for storing our firewood indoors.
The above steel wall circles are a very cool way to give your firewood a place inside and also to store it in such a way that you have a nice interior item, don't you think?
If you already have an existing wood-burning stove in your house, you may have fewer options than building a new house with a fireplace. If you can still organize everything yourself, the above is a great solution for storing your firewood indoors. Near your stove. Always looks very warm and cozy.
If you are unable to 'build in' something for storing your firewood, you can also look at a steel frame for indoors. You hang it somewhere on the wall near your wood-burning stove and tada… a new twist on the towel rail that you also see a lot in bathrooms.
This wooden storage house is also very cute I think. Slightly less sleek and modern than a steel frame on your wall, but with the same effect. This makes storing your firewood not only a breeze, but also an eye-catcher.
We have a beautiful corten steel wood storage for outside, also very cool. In the shape of a honeycomb. However, it is nice to be able to put down some wood inside as well. So that you are always ready to fire when you feel like lighting the stove.
You can also use existing furniture to store your firewood indoors in a neat way. Looks great with firewood in a cupboard, under a side table or under a bench where you can sit and read for a while.
As you can see here on the right is actually what I had in mind to store the firewood inside. But now I am also in the mood for something beautiful on the wall in front of the firewood. Purely because I always like to have as little as possible on the floor. That makes cleaning a lot easier;).
Which storage method do you like best? On the wall, on the floor or incorporated into a piece of furniture?
