We are blessed with two bathrooms in the house. Well, let's say one bathroom and one small shower room. We will also tackle the small shower room in a while to make it a bit more cozy. Now the shower room is really small and there is just enough space for a sink and a shower and 1 m² PVC floor in that bathroom, haha. That in itself is good enough, especially since it is not the only place where we can freshen up. But of course there are also people who simply have a small shower room as the only bathroom in the house. And then it is nice to set it up as conveniently as possible. This will certainly work with the tips below!

Do you also have a shower where you can (almost) not turn your butt? Check the tips below to get the most benefit from your shower room.
Is your shower room too small? Then it is smart to go for a complete shower cubicle 90×90 with a sliding door. This way you don't lose any space in the rest of your bathroom. And yet you keep the rest of the bathroom dry because the shower door stops all the water. Ideal.
Our small shower room now has a shower with a shower curtain. That shower curtain has to come out, because we find that very annoying. Often such a shower curtain sticks to your legs and that is so annoying. In addition, the chance of water in the rest of the shower room is greater than with a shower door, which is not so nice with a PVC floor in the bathroom.
Depending on the layout of your bathroom and shower room, you may be better off opting for a quarter-round shower cubicle. You don't actually use the corners of your shower anyway, so it doesn't matter much for using the shower. But for the rest of your bathroom or shower room it is. You can use those extra centimeters well when you are standing in front of your sink, for example. Whether you want to dry yourself off, right? So even though it may seem a little less sleek or modern, it's a good solution.
Tip:if you are a huge spa enthusiast, you will probably be very disappointed with your small shower room. Take a look at a steam cabin, for example. Here you can simply shower, but also pamper yourself by taking a steam shower. Or look for an infrared panel in your shower room. This way you still create the wellness feeling in your small shower. More examples of small bathrooms can be found here.
Are you a real lover of bathing and do you have room for a bath or a shower? Why not opt for a bath-shower combination? Preferably one with a flat part in the bath where you can really easily (and safely) stand if you only have time for a short shower. In this way you make good use of your small shower room and you can still enjoy a nice warm bath every now and then.
In any case, always provide a water-saving shower head to protect the environment. No experience with it? Read the review about this water-saving action shower head.
You may think you don't have much space for a vanity unit in your small shower room. And that is of course true. But don't forget that you also have to store some things. A bathroom furniture is therefore important, but then look at bathroom furniture that is not too large. Or have one custom made that fits exactly. The big advantage of the latter is that you can really use every centimeter.
Also a good idea:by installing a partition wall, you have a shower wall and storage space in one. Now, of course, this looks gorgeous with those towels. But you can also choose to close the whole thing here with a sliding door where you can put all your creams and jars.
You can see another solution in the right photo. Buy or make a apothecary cabinet for your bathroom. You only need very little space for a pharmacy cabinet, but you can use the space optimally. Ideal next to your sink.
The mirror cabinet is also indispensable. And luckily, they now also have them in all shapes and sizes. This way you can still furnish your shower room in a modern, sleek and cozy way, even if it is small.
