It's a topic of conversation here, the bathroom, but I'm sure you get that. We are not yet sure whether we will renovate the old bathroom cheaply or whether we will completely renovate the bathroom. It probably has to do with the cost of the other renovations that we have in mind and whether those budgets are running out. Lending for a renovation is also possible, but we'd rather not do it now… If there is still a budget left, we will probably completely refurbish the old bathroom by means of a complete renovation. But otherwise we'll have to make do with some minor adjustments in the bathroom for the time being. So I'm probably snooping around.

If you see the photo above, you'll no doubt agree that this bathroom could use a makeover, wouldn't it? Although everything is still fairly neat, the appearance of the bathroom is so outdated that my hands are itching to get started. But how?
You can find the materials to renovate your old bathroom cheaply here:
If you want to refurbish an old bathroom, it is important that you first check the sealant seams. If there is mold here and there on sealant seams, then it does look a bit shabby. First you can see if you can remove the mold in the bathroom † Doesn't work? Then it is smart to replace the old sealant seams.
If there are leaks in the bathroom, then the cheap refurbishment of the old bathroom by replacing the sealant seams is obviously not enough. You will first have to look at which leaks there are and how to solve them. New sealants at an existing leak are of course useless.
If we want to refurbish cheaply, then new tiles are not an option. Had they been white, that would not have been necessary at all, but we find the color red rather … uhhh … predominant.
Painting bathroom tiles may be an option. About twenty years ago I already did that in my bathroom in my apartment. It is a time-consuming job, painting those old tiles in the bathroom, but it is at least a cheap alternative if you want to refurbish them.
Here you will find good tile paint for bathroom and toilet
You should keep in mind that you must follow the method below to ensure that the paint does not peel off.
Tip:the darker you paint the tile, the smaller the bathroom looks, keep that in mind when choosing the color.
Are the tiles in order, but the joints just dirty? Then you can also suffice with cleaning your joints. You can tackle your joints with vinegar or grout fresh and if necessary you can also use a grout marker use if you want.
I can imagine that buying a new shower cubicle may not fit within the budget if you want to refurbish your old bathroom cheaply. You can then refresh the old shower with a good scrubbing. For example, use vinegar or another cleaning agent.
Is there a lot of limescale? Then dip cotton wool in the cleaning vinegar and let it soak for a while on the limescale (in the shower cabin, for example). Lime around the tap? You can easily wind those cotton wool around the tap so that after 10 minutes your tap will look spick and span again.
Is it your own old bathroom that you want to renovate cheaply, then you may think of small things, such as some nice accessories in the bathroom. This way you can refurbish your bathroom with little money (see below for inspiration).
If you are moving and want to redecorate the old bathroom in your new home, you may also need some bathroom furniture. Take a look at the marketplace for some bathroom furniture to be cheap. Or paint the doors of your existing bathroom furniture and give them a concrete look, for example. This way you have a completely different bathroom for relatively little money.
Tip:with this paint you can also create a concrete look on furniture yourself.
In addition to the above tips, I would like to give you some inspiration for the cheap refurbishment of your old bathroom. The options below are relatively cheap and give your bathroom a completely different look. Can you do it again for a few years? Want even more bad room ideas , then you can read this blog.
If you don't have a shower cubicle, but do have a shower corner with a raised edge, you can lay a beautiful new floor in the shower corner. Immediately gives a fresh and luxurious wellness look. Use this s o ort hardwood for a floor in your shower.
Of course you can also tackle the rest of the bathroom floor. And it doesn't have to be very complicated. For example, did you know that there is special bathroom laminate consists? Easy to install and it gives your bathroom a new look in one fell swoop.
What do you think of these revamps? If you can buy an old cabinet at a thrift store, then with some extra work you can turn it into a fantastic bathroom furniture as you can see above. The right one really deserves a 10+ in my opinion.
More information about the above cool towel rail can be found here
The copy below is also a nice one. The same kind of idea, but with intermediate bars so that your towels really stay in place. And not that expensive at all!
The towel rack below can be found here
If you also want to give the bathroom a nice touch, use some small accessories, such as something like above. You can also buy the Xenos . for next to nothing or Action for nice accessories with a small shelf, for example. With this you can dress up the old bathroom cheaply, so that it will be refurbished immediately.
