Thanks to your jars, you can better organize your home and store all your little odds and ends:from your washi tape to your buttons. But we particularly like this idea which allows you to have a string dispenser. You will need an iron pick to pierce the cover, a large screw, nuts and of course spools of wire.
You make small holes in the lid to let the string through and a bigger one to put the screw. Put a nut on the long screw, pull it all the way up, then thread the screw through the hole you made in the middle of the lid. Thread the thread spools. Block them with a nut and pass the wires through the small holes made on the cover. There you go, you've put away your spools of thread. It's very practical and pretty too!

To make this storage, you need a few empty jars, a pallet that you will fix to the wall and some clamps or plumbing fittings to hold the jars, some screws and nuts.
With a drill, make a hole in the clamps and in the pallet. Fix the clamps on the pallet using a screw and a nut. Put the jars in the clamps then tighten them. All you have to do is hang your palette!

It may be necessary to cut your pump hose to fit your jar perfectly.
What could be nicer than spending the evening on the terrace lit by the twinkling of a garland of jars? In my opinion, not much! To make this homemade light garland, you need galvanized wire, tea lights, a hammer and a nail to make holes. Start by making 2 holes in the covers, one opposite the other, with the hammer and the nail. They should be wide enough to fit the wire through. Thread the lids onto the wire. Arrange the candles at the bottom of the jars and screw the jars onto their lids. All you have to do is install this rustic light garland in your garden to embellish it.
Change the way you display your family photos with this little DIY that requires vegetable oil. Yes, you read that right ! Vegetable oil! For a nice effect, place your favorite photo against the wall of the jar. You can add small pebbles or potpourri to hold the photo in place. Choose a more or less clear vegetable oil (grape seed oil, sunflower oil, etc.) depending on the color you want to have. Although oil can preserve your photo without damaging it, try it first with a copy of the photo in question.
