For vehicles equipped with a BVA automatic gearbox, I can shifting earlier in the revs, briefly taking my foot off the accelerator pedal.
The BVA will then automatically shift to the next gear. My eco-driving will then be much improved. This method only works in the "D" position.
I can thus voluntarily change gear at 2000 rpm for petrol vehicles and at 2500 rpm for diesel vehicles even with a BVA.
Upshifting at the right times on a BVA using the tachometer is a good way to reduce fuel consumption.
It is very often by taking care to maintain good eco-driving that we avoid spending too much. The car part of your family budget is a place that you should not take your eyes off because it is important.
I save money every time I use my car and my purchasing power gains!
