In a container, mix 500 ml of water, 120 ml of hydrogen peroxide and 60 ml of lemon juice.
Hydrogen peroxide and lemon juice are effective mildew-fighting cleaners.
In addition, this solution prevents the development of fungi.
You can also mix 60 ml of lemon juice with 120 ml of white vinegar in 500 ml of water.
White vinegar is an all-purpose cleaner that can be used as an alternative to hydrogen peroxide.
The combination of these 2 natural products is highly effective against mold that leaves black spots on the joints.
Last much less natural bleach-based recipe:
Mix 1 part bleach to 4 parts water.
This method is to be used if and only if the natural cleaners seen above do not work.
Indeed, the use of bleach is to be avoided in the vast majority of cases.
Why ? Because it is a toxic product that is not natural...
But sometimes the mold is so ingrained that only bleach can remove it.

No more disgusting black stains in the washing machine!
This deep cleaning works both for machines with portholes and machines with a top opening.
Now let's see together how to prevent the mold from reappearing in the machine.
1. Use the correct amount of detergent.
Too much detergent creates much more foam and leaves deposits in the machine more easily.
To avoid this, use our guide here to properly dose the detergent with each machine you run.
2. Leave the door open after each wash.
This allows the moisture inside the machine to evaporate better.
This prevents the formation of a humid environment conducive to the development of mold.
3. Remove wet clothes immediately after washing.
This not only helps prevent moisture buildup...
...but also to prevent your clothes from smelling musty.
It's very simple, but extremely effective so that mold does not have time to develop.
4. Wipe the joint with pure white vinegar.
Do this trick at least once a week to remove moisture and detergent residue.
Why ? Because it is the root cause of the presence of mold!
By doing this small gesture, you prevent mold from reappearing quickly.
5. Place a dehumidifier in the room where the washing machine is located.
The more humid a room is, the more mold develops!
Including in the washing machine.
If your laundry room is too humid, invest in a dehumidifier to clear the air.
To find out if your room is too humid, get an indoor hygrometer.
