Fortunately, my dyer gave me a simple and effective trick to remove a chocolate stain from a rug or carpet.
The trick to removing this nasty stain is to use white vinegar . Watch:

1. With the blade of a knife, scrape to remove most of the chocolate.
2. Pour water into a basin.
3. Put some Marseille soap in it.
4. Dip a sponge into the mixture.
5. Dab the stain on the carpet with the dampened sponge.
6. Take a clean, dry cloth.
7. Soak it in vinegar.
8. Rub the cloth over the stain.
There you go, thanks to this dry cleaner's trick, the chocolate stain on your carpet has completely disappeared :-)
