Use a soft cloth to place a small amount of polish on the surface. Then, make small circles to spread the wax over the entire surface.
Or, better yet, use a brush to apply the polish in the direction of the wood grain.
Do not hesitate to apply a generous amount of polish, even if it means removing the excess later.
Let the wax sit for 15 to 30 minutes, so that it penetrates the wood fibers well.
With a clean, soft cloth, rub the wood to make it shine.
