If you put marker on your skin, there is a simple and effective trick to remove it.

Have your children made indelible marker marks on clothing? Don't worry, all is not lost!

Prepare a thick layer of paper towel. Lay the stained fabric over it, the stain against the paper towel.

With 70° alcohol, soak the fabric starting from the edge of the stain inwards.

Continue in this way, making sure that as much ink as possible is absorbed by the paper.

Replace the paper towel sheets as needed. Then rinse thoroughly and machine wash as usual.

3. On upholstery

Have your children left an ugly trace of marker on your sofa or beautiful armchair?

Mix 1 tablespoon of washing-up liquid and 1 tablespoon of white vinegar with 500 ml of fresh water.

Apply this mixture to the stain with a clean cloth.

Leave to act for at least 30 min, rewetting every 5 min with the mixture.

Then, rinse with cold water and pat dry until all is absorbed.

Next, soak a clean sponge in 70° alcohol and wipe it over the stain.

Finally, sponge with cold water and dab the liquid until it is absorbed.

4. On a rug or carpet

Rub gently, rinse and dry.

If the stain does not go away completely, put 70° alcohol on a sponge and rub the stain.

Let air dry and then dab with cold water to rinse.

Blot with a clean cloth until the liquid is absorbed.

This trick also works for carpets.

If you have a permanent mark on your leather sofa or your Perfecto, spray hairspray on the stain.

Then rub with a damp sponge to erase everything. The components of the lacquer "eat" the ink and remove it from the leather.

You can then pass cleansing milk to nourish the leather and make it look like new.

First, act as soon as possible to prevent the ink from congealing in the paint of the car.

Use a fountain pen eraser and soak the stain with it. Then, pass a sponge soaked in dishwashing liquid and rub.

If necessary, finish with a magic eraser and why not, a little polish. This trick works for all metallic surfaces.

Bonus Tips

If the stains persist even using the tips above, try this stain remover called Amodex:

On clothing: apply Amodex to the stain, without wetting the area. Scrub with a stiff brush until the ink fades. Then rinse and wash.

On plastic: apply a thin layer of Amodex to the stained area and leave it on overnight. In the morning, wipe the stain with a damp cloth.

On upholstery: apply a few drops of Amodex to the stain and rub with a toothbrush or cloth. Keep rubbing gently until the stain disappears. Be careful not to rub too hard so as not to damage the fabric. Rinse and let dry (or use a hair dryer) to avoid rings.

On wood: apply a thin layer of Amodex to the stained area. Rub, rinse and dry with a cloth.
