Over time, ugly white and black streaks appear on the tile .
These stubborn traces appear because of the limestone contained in the water.
As a result, the floor tiles become dull and dirty.
But no need to jump on a commercially available Antikal spray!
It's way too expensive and it's full of questionable substances...
Fortunately, there are 2 super effective tips for removing these encrusted marks on the bathroom tiles.
All you need is baking soda or white vinegar. Look, it's quite simple:
Contents
Mix 3 parts baking soda in 1 part hot water to form a paste.
With a sponge or a brush, spread the paste on the tiles then rub to remove the traces of limestone.
Finally, rinse with clean water and dry with a clean, dry cloth.
Dampen a clean cloth with pure white vinegar.
Then, pass the cloth over the tiles and rinse.
If the marks persist, repeat the operation this time with warm white vinegar.
And There you go ! Your wall tiles are now free of those nasty traces of limestone :-)
Easy, fast and efficient, right?
This trick works on all types of tiles:matte, black, grey, glossy and porcelain stoneware.
Plus, it's completely natural!
It works just as well on bathroom tiles as it does on kitchen tiles.
White vinegar attacks limescale, even in a thin layer on the tiles.
Baking soda, on the other hand, helps to unclog stubborn limestone thanks to its small grains.
Don't worry, it won't scratch the tile.
To avoid having to do this too often, I advise you to invest in a small squeegee like this one.
After each shower, scrape up standing water. This way, it won't form streaks when it dries and you'll keep your tiles looking like new for months.
