Do you know about laundry balls?
They were awarded in the Ecoproduct competition of the Ministry of the Environment.
Washing balls are now part of everyday life.
But, if we can avoid buying some and favor the recycling of 2 forgotten tennis balls, then it's better!
So by replacing the washing balls?
It was at my brother's that I discovered this trick.
Who said men weren't subtle and resourceful housewives?
Contents
1. Put your laundry in the drum of the machine.
2. Place two tennis balls in it.
3. Launch your usual program.
There you go, your laundry is even cleaner, softer and easier to iron :-)
Plus, you save on laundry.
You wonder why put a tennis ball in the machine?
By adding washing balls to the drum of the washing machine, my dear brother taught me that this reduced the doses of detergent by at least 20%.
On the other hand, I had the misfortune to put my balls in the machine with pantyhose on and it weakened them slightly. But that, my brother couldn't know (obviously!).
On the other hand, it is super effective for washing a down jacket.
Start using your balls with fairly dark laundry at first. We never know. Depending on the quality of the tennis ball, the yellow could rub off and your pretty white top could end up slightly faded and yellowed.
But hey, if you use baking soda, there should be no problem.
I also use two other tennis balls in my dryer to make my clothes dry faster. It's still cheaper than dryer balls.
And no need to run to Biocoop or Intermaché!
If you have tennis balls lying around in the garage, then this trick will save you 100% .
Otherwise, do not panic, buying two tennis balls is cheaper than investing in synthetic washing balls anyway.
Especially when you know that just 1 tennis ball is as effective as 2 or even 3 laundry balls sold on the market.
And don't forget that by using washing balls, you need less detergent in the machine, so you save even more!
