So how do you restore the shine to terracotta? There is a very simple trick to cleaning a terracotta flowerpot. This trick is to clean the pot with white vinegar.
1. Soak a sponge in white vinegar.
2. Rub the stain of the pot with the scraper part.
3. Rinse the sponge.
4. Run the sponge soaked in water over the stain.
There you go, your terracotta pots are perfectly clean :-)
