An ember or a cigarette fell on your carpet?
And you're bored to fix that...
The problem is that a small hole can quickly ruin the aesthetics of the part.
So, to avoid changing the whole carpet, our grandmother knows a trick against burns:just use another piece of carpet.
1. Start by scraping the burnt part to remove the crimson.
2. Lift a piece of furniture that never moves to cut a "tuft" of carpet.
3. Put glue in the hole.
4. Reattach the tuft to the burnt area.
There you go, you have easily repaired your carpet :-)
Easy, efficient and economical! You don't even need to change the carpet!
The burn is not even visible. It's still cleaner that way, isn't it?
1. If the hole is deep, cut out a piece of carpet using a cookie cutter in an equally hidden place.
2. Then cut around the burn a hole the same size as the pre-cut piece.
3. Apply neoprene glue at the bottom of the hole without protruding on the carpet.
4. Paste the new piece.
5. Using a clean cloth, press down several times to ensure the piece sticks together.
