A table or a chair is sometimes a little wobbly.
There is a practical and durable solution to quickly stabilize your furniture.
Are you used to using a sheet of paper to block furniture?
It's a good idea. But there is an even more effective trick.
Rather than wedging a sheet folded in 12 under the too short foot...
Instead, lay out a thin strip of cork.
1. Try laying the furniture flat to see which leg is too short.
2. This will also allow you to see what thickness you need to cut.
3. Take a cork and, with a sharp knife, cut a strip.
4. Place glue on the side that will be facing up.
5. Raise the piece of furniture a little and take the opportunity to slide the wedge under the wobbly leg.
6. Let the glue dry. That's it.
There you go, your furniture is no longer wobbly :-)
Simple, practical and effective!
And it's still more pleasant to have a stable piece of furniture, isn't it?
Plus it's a great way to recycle corks!
