Cut sprigs of greenery from the larger store-bought bunch. Take two sprigs of greenery and mix with florist's wire. There is no method to this technique, just wrap it around until the twigs feel secure. Continue adding lengths of faux greenery until the garland reaches across the top and sides of your gift box. Once the green branches are the correct length, cut the florist's wire and tie off the end.

Fill in the green garland by cutting sprigs of fake red flowers and weaving them into the garland. Secure it with florist wire and continue down the length of the garland. Repeat with any additional pops of floral color you wish to incorporate into your design.

Once you have finished filling your garland, securely attach the green florist wires to each end of the garland, making sure the ends are long enough to wrap around your gift box. The knot terminates at the bottom of the box and cuts off excess wire before placing it under the tree.
