This cute message board has 101 uses, to name a few:display children's artwork or your favorite photos, hang it in the wardrobe and attach gloves to it, or hang it in the laundry room to store your partner's socks.

Create the sunburst shape

Gather your tools and materials. Using a small plate as a guide, trace a circle on a piece of cardboard.

Cut the cardboard circle..

Trace on canvas

Trace the shape onto the back of the fabric, using the cardboard as a guide.

Cut outside the lines

Cut at least a half inch beyond the outline of the fabric.

Paste the fabric

Place the cardboard circle in the center of the fabric upside down. Using a hot glue gun, fold the extra fabric on the back and glue it in place.

Painted pins

Paint each wooden clip inside and out, except for the back where it will stick to the fabric.

Position the Pins

Flip the fabric covered circle over and space the pins around the edge. The clip should be facing out with half of the pin touching the fabric

Paste the pins

Apply glue to the center of the back of the dowel. Just cover half of the pin with glue, then press firmly into place.

Add a ribbon

Attach a knotted ribbon to the top pin, which will allow the frame to hang.
